Eucalyptus camaldulensis the legendary
river red gum tree known for its majesty,

gums pre settlement & remnant trees can
still be found thought Melbourne's parks
& reserves along the banks of the Yarra
River & other creek lines across suburbia.

Red Gums can live in excess of 700 years
& can form thick limbs with immense weight.

Mature red gums form many hollows &
provide & wealth of habitat niches for a large
number of species.
